New Williams Syndrome Clinic to Open

A new Multidisciplinary Williams Syndrome Clinic will be opening in Columbus, Ohio on October 9th, 2007!  This WS Clinic is a joint effort of The Ohio State University’s  Nisonger Center (which is a University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities) and the Columbus Children’s Hospital.  This multidisciplinary clinic will offer specialized evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults with Williams syndrome.  The specialists involved will include a Developmental Pediatrician, Behavioral Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech/Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Physical Therapist.  Involvement with Genetics and Cardiology will be coordinated as necessary for each family.  If you would like more information or would like to schedule an appointment, please contact Dr. Marilee Martens at (614) 688-3112 or e-mail her at martens.22@osu.edu.
